2020 Sign Up Information

Signup Information NOTE: This year there will be 3 signups and will take place at Light of the World on the following dates: Saturday, May 2      9:00 - 11:00 (am) Thursday, May 7    6:00 - 8:00 (pm) Saturday, May 9    9:00 - 11:00 (am) Space is limited in the league (88 slots) and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Sorry, no exceptions.  It is strongly advised to make every effort to signup on the first date. There will be a waiting list once all the slots have been filled.  In the past some players on the waiting list have ended up playing in the league, so we recommend putting your child's name on the waiting list, should the league reach its maximum. The cost for the league is $55 (make checks payable to LWCC).  There will be no refunds once your child has been registered. After the May 9 signup, the cost will be increased to $75 (late fee). Considerations before signing up for MSBL - PLEASE READ BELOW: When creating the teams, we attempt to balance each team according to skill levels.  We would like to have those who sign up be involved as much as possible. The coaches and league emphasize teamwork and skill development. To accomplish these goals it is important to attends practices as well as games.  We understand summer vacations are commonplace but please evaluate your commitment before you sign on for the sake of your team. As a rule of thumb, if you feel that the player will not be able to attend more than 2 games, or not be able to attend practices on weekends, or unable to play in the playoffs, it is recommended not to sign up for the league.  If your child plays baseball or football during the summer and the priorities are with those sports, we certainly understand, but at the same time, we recommend not to sign up, in fairness to the league and the teams. We can only assure that family members will be on the same team.
